B2B Application Developer

Net Solutions is a dematerialisation specialist located in Strassen, Luxemburg.

We are currently upgrading our infrastructure and our applications in order to increase quality and responsiveness of our services. We need qualified temporary resource for helping us during that important project. We estimate assignment duration to 3 months, but could be extended.

Reporting to the technical manager, you will be assigned to several technical migrations (both platforms and software versions) but also in functional enhancement of our B2B applications (development).

Migrations includes:
• Backup/Restore our databases & environments
• Testing OS upgrades & migrations
• Managing issues
• Security administration

Development includes:
• Application components upgrades
• Conversion scripts modifications
• Design, code and test new functionalities
• Mass testing

• Graduate with a degree in computer science or electrical engineering, minimum 3 years experience is required.
• Fluent in English, and a good knowledge of 1 language amongst the following: French, Deutsch, Spanish and German
• Like to help people, friendly, good team player.
• Autonomous, solution oriented, good problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Java, SQL, linux, windows and web technologies (XHTML, CSS, Javascript, …) is a must.
• Experience in the following domains is welcome: J2EE, XML, XSLT, XSD, EDI data transfer (EDIFACT, X12, OFTP, …), Schematron, XPath.
